We have partnered with the Plant City Parks & Recreation Department's Annual Easter Egg Hunt since its inception in 1989!  This year, we will provide the prizes for the "SPECIAL EGG" winners!

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt is for all area youths ages 3-11.  The hunt is free, bring your own basket.  Other activities are available with an onsite purchase of a $5 Bunny Band.

The 2026 event will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 10 a.m. at the
Randy Larson Softball Complex

• Inaugural event was in 1989.  2026 will be the 37th annual event (missing 2020 due to COVID-19).
• Egg Hunt itself is free for all youths ages 3-11.
• Bring your own basket.
• Youths are divided into age groups: 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-11.
• Over 15,000 eggs will be available for gathering!
• Special "Golden Eggs" will be hidden in each egg nest. Finders turn them in for a large Easter Basket after the hunt.
• Each nest has group leaders who will assist the youths and provide eggs to those with none.
• The Egg Hunt is for the youths - no adults allowed in the nest, only youth participants and event staff are allowed in the nest during the hunt.  Event staff will ensure all children receive some eggs.
• Instruct your child to meet you back at the nest perimeter after the hunt.  If you have children in multiple nests, lost children will be escorted to the stage area if not claimed quickly after the hunt.
• Pre-hunt entertainment starts at 10:00 a.m.
• Other activities will open after the Egg Hunt and they will close at 1:00 p.m.
• Bunny Bands will be on sale at the event for $5 to be used for all activities:
